FAQ
Common questions about tours in Stratford-upon-Avon
Where do your tours begin?
Most public walks begin near the Gower Memorial in Bancroft Gardens, close to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Your confirmation email includes the exact meeting point.
Are attraction tickets included?
Our walking tours focus on guided interpretation and exterior storytelling unless clearly stated otherwise. Entry to individual attractions such as Shakespeare’s Birthplace or Anne Hathaway’s Cottage is not included.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Yes. Our daytime routes work well for families, and our guides adapt tone and detail so younger guests stay engaged without adults feeling short-changed.
What happens if it rains?
We operate in light rain and adjust where possible for shelter and comfort. If conditions become unsafe or seriously disruptive, we will contact guests about rescheduling or refund arrangements.
Can you accommodate mobility requirements?
Many routes can be adapted, although parts of historic Stratford-upon-Avon include cobbles, uneven paving and occasional gradients. Please tell us your needs before booking so we can advise properly.
